Web Power strives to be the market leader in individualized marketing. “We give the world more Web Power by enabling customers to communicate on a personal level with their relations”, says Web Power's marketing manager, Nick Samar. “We go beyond the traditional way of informing relations. Web Power makes sure companies can really get to know their target group.”
In 1999 Web Power started as a small two-man business. From a garret in the Dutch town Barneveld founders Jacco Bouw and Niek Kerkemeijer worked on a formula to enrich the new world of Internet and email marketing. Old colleague and mate, Arjan Haverkamp joined the two in 2001 as software specialist, after which the company (now established in a real office in Barneveld) grew steadily. The content management system Phoundry was built and not much later Web Power's main email marketing solution DMdelivery was ready for use.
In 2006 Web Power took the step to go abroad. International clients were found and in China and Sweden two brand new offices were opened. Taking on the Chinese market seemed to be a bad move at first, but proved to be a golden one for Web Power. The Dutch company is now market leader in the area of email marketing in China and will open a third office this year. Web Power also advices the Chinese government on anti-spam regulation and email marketing in China. In 2008 offices were opened in Germany.
Worldwide Web Power Group has about 100 employees and over 2.000 users, who profit from the usability and strength of Web Power's solutions every day.
