Nordea is the biggest bank in Scandinavia. In order to build and keep a strong relationship with their local and the important clients, Nordea decided to invite them to play golf with its account managers and Golf professionals.
challenge
Send a professional invitation with a possibility to subscribe to this event and collect sufficient data from the participating person. After subscribing the participant needs a password to login to a portal created for the event. The client can easily log back into the portal after the event where he can see the photos taken and see the scores.
goal
The goal is to fill every available space for this special event. Even after the event the client needs to stay involved.
solution
When communicating with a large group of people, email is the best solution. A recipient can read the communication when and where he desires.
The first email was a teaser to inform recipients on the upcoming event.
Then an invitations was sent containing a link to the registration page which was also created in dmdelivery. The confirmation email contains login information and a link to the event website. The participant could now log on to the event website for further information.
After collecting all data the Nordea Account Manager receives an email with information on which of his clients did or did not register for the even.
To top things of the portal was filled with scores information plus a photo gallery of this special event. A "thank you email" was sent to all participating clients containing the link to the portal to remind them to log back in.
results
By using the webpower event manager, Nordea was able to save costs and to organize an extremely successful event. 99% of the registered clients turned up and the day was a total success.
